A great big welcome to Fall and our foliage harvest season! It's a wonderful time for a Berkshire getaway - There is apple picking with a choice of your locally grown favorites - McIntosh, Cortlands, and Jona-Macs - our wineries offering their tastings - and of course, the spectacular colors of leaves on over 400 species of trees framing our exquisite Berkshire mountain views - Homemade fruit pies, cider and donuts, pumpkins and mums in every gorgeous color waiting for you to take home - Our independent book stores are stocked with new releases as well as our yarn shops filled with new wools and cashmeres in beautiful colors for your special project or gift giving - and of course our country breakfast served by a cozy morning fire after sleeping and dreaming under a down comforter in a canopy bed!
