Our summer weather has been spectacular and our season has been "spectacularly" busy - and now - we anticipate the brilliance of the Fall foliage season - The Berkshires are the ideal destination to see nature in all its glory - Did you know that there are over 400 specimens of trees here? - Visitors from all over the world come here to see the changing of the leaves! We also have apple picking, pressed cider, pumpkins and gourds, - and beautiful mums of every color at our local farm stands for you to take home! Another week-end afternoon must - and not to be missed - are the tastings offered by our local wineries! (Not only delicious but you're learning about their wines! - How good is that!) To enjoy a change of pace and experience the beautiful Berkshires at your leisure we offer comfy accommodations and a yummy breakfast - by the fire if you wish - and complimentary passes with a 2 nite stay to the Norman Rockwell Museum - a stone's throw from our Inn. Our guest rooms are spacious and comfortable. King and Queen four poster bedsteads feature firm mattresses and crisp linens for a restful sleep. Upholstered furniture and fine antiques compliment the period wallpapers in keeping with the inn's character and charm. Modern baths en-suite complete with all the amenities you would need for your Berkshire getaway!

Enter Stockbridge Country Inn thru the double doors into the lobby. Built in 1998 to compliment the farmhouse charm with wide board floors, a vaulted tongue & groove ceiling and country antiques decorate this very large common room. Our front desk is staffed from 8:30am to 9:00pm to welcome you when checking in and also to assist you with restaurant recommendations and reservations, directions and whatever questions or assistance you may need.

Our country breakfast is served daily. In the fall and winter months we enjoy the morning by a crackling fire. In spring and summer step out to the screened porch decorated in white iron tables and chairs offering lovely views of our pool and gardens. Tables are set with English china, colorful linens, period lamps, and fresh flowers in season. Early morning coffee is available and breakfast service begins at 8:30am.

Our kitchen is fully equipped with a professional Garland 6 burner range, double ovens and griddle. Top of the line Sub-Zero appliances complete our commercial needs. The Chef's Pantry features a bar ice machine where coffee, tea, juices, and water are always available during your stay. Delicious entres and sweet treats are prepared daily.

We have several sitting rooms and each have views of the surrounding landscape. Relax in a comfy deep wing chair and enjoy the country quiet. Daily newspapers are available - if you must - or choose a current magazine or interesting book from our collection for bedside reading. If there is something that you need that you don't see, please let us know and we will surely get it for you!
